"Also, I had a great time at the RC (Referral Center), which is where real people call into the church to talk about any questions they had and request more information on our beliefs. I had the privilege of talking to a Joyce who sounded like she was from the deep south. I had trouble understanding her from her thick southern accent, but to say the least, she was hilarious and a breath of fresh air. I talked to her for about 20 minutes about our beliefs and she was very excited to hear all of it. Its funny because I have never met this lady Joyce, but yet I feel so close to her on a whole different level. The spirit once again was so strong and as I shared my testimony to her, I could feel that the spirit was taking the message to her heart. With a shaky, southern voice, she said, "Thank you, I think that the Lord had me call you today because He knew that I needed to talk to you, thank you for taking the time and answering my personal questions." I have never met Joyce, but I love her. That experience has only made me want to get out into the field even more. This work is so rewarding, and I am not able to believe that I almost gave up this experience. I know that this church is true, and that by its teachings a person can come closer to God. Joseph Smith was and is a prophet and by the power of God translated the Book of Mormon. That through the spirit of God, we can learn all things for ourselves."
